Sadly for the large audience, the proposed presentation on the Villas and Gardens of Umbria had to be postponed due to last minute technical difficulties. However Tina Geraldi and Pietro Urso stepped into the breach leading a fascinating discussion in Italian prompted by questions from the floor. Topics ranged from the dialects spoken in the various regions of Italy, the history of the unification of Italy, its politics and economics and the ongoing differences between the peoples of the north and south of the country.
